Living Responsibly… It’s Only Natural!

Sheryl Eaglewoman

Welcome! This week’s topic is an obvious choice. Spring is here and so, for many, it is allergy season. It is time to change that. Be Free From Seasonal Allergies! I can tell you how. Healing from the many stresses in our lives, physical, emotional and mental, will set us free from most allergies. Here’s my theory on the "allergy issue"…adrenal stress. Adrenal stress and continued "burning the rope at both ends" will eventually lead to either a lowered function of the adrenal gland or an overreaction of the adrenal gland. I believe allergies are an overreaction by the adrenal glands. There are so many "stresses" we create in the body by unwise choices such as over consumption of synthetic "foods", pesticides, exposure to bad media, exposure to negative persons, etc. These stresses will eventually lead to "the straw that breaks the camel’s back". When overwhelmed, the adrenals will create resistance in the body. This creates a "reaction" to certain foods, pollens, etc. The body is virtually yelling, "Overload!" Too much to do!

So what to do? First, eliminate all synthetic substances in your diet. Then purchase body care products that are free from mineral oil, synthetic preservatives, fluoride, etc. Anything that burdens the body and/or liver is everything to your allergies. Then, consider how much you excite and stimulate your adrenals through the various media productions; killer, thriller movies, cliff hangers, competition games and war games. And of course, how much battling do we do in our everyday existence. How about traffic warfare? How about the shock felt at the gas prices? Family issues at hand? Every one of these influences effect our stress levels, thereby affecting our adrenals. This is the key.

But, you want relief right now?! You need to breathe easier, no pun intended, before you can change your whole life. Of course, you do. So, here’s to breath! Following is a list of products and lifestyle restrictions that should help you in the reduction of symptoms while you work on the rest of the story.

The choice is ours, of course. Remember, the more we put into our health, the healthier we will be…on all levels. So go for it!

Question of the week: What is good to cleanse the blood?

Answer: One basic, yet excellent, product is chlorophyll. It is excellent for sweetening and cleansing the body, resulting in less body odor, fresher breath and other healthy benefits.
